We’re excited to celebrate Norman Spivak, MD/PhD student at UCLA, for his recognition by the Focused Ultrasound Foundation (FUSF) as an emerging leader in the field of focused ultrasound research.
Norman’s pioneering work centers on LIFUP neuromodulation using the BrainSonix system explores how this non-invasive technology can be applied to advance treatments in psychiatry and neuroimaging. Through his research at UCLA, he is helping to expand our understanding of how targeted ultrasound can modulate deep brain circuits and potentially address complex neuropsychiatric conditions.
His recognition by the FUS Foundation highlights the critical importance of next-generation thinkers who are pushing the boundaries of neuromodulation science. BrainSonix congratulates Norman on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to continued innovation and collaboration as LIFUP technologies continue to evolve.
