We are proud to celebrate Dr. Susan Bookheimer on her NIH R01 research grant in support of her groundbreaking work using BrainSonix LIFUP technology to advance treatment of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
Dr. Bookheimer’s research continues to shape how we study memory, brain network integrity, and disease progression using advanced neuroimaging and translational neuroscience approaches. In this work, the BrainSonix LIFUP is being used to precisely target deep memory-related circuits, such as the entorhinal cortex (ERc) and hippocampus (HC), which are critically affected in both MCI and AD. BrainSonix applauds Dr.
Bookheimer on this major achievement and looks forward to the continued impact of her work with the BrainSonix system.
